Railway Delivery of Crushed Stone: Features and Advantages
All about crushed stone railway logistics. Wagon loading standards, delivery times, and shipment geography from the Shokpartas quarry.

For large construction projects, road delivery is often unprofitable. The railway allows transporting huge volumes over long distances at minimal cost.
Wagon Capacity
We use open-top wagons (with hatches and solid bottoms). The standard loading of one wagon is 69-70 tons of crushed stone.
A single train can replace a convoy of 50-60 dump trucks!
Delivery Geography
Having our own railway spur at the Shokpar station allows us to dispatch cargo:
- Throughout Kazakhstan (Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Aktobe)
- To the Russian Federation
- To Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
Deadlines and Processing
We take care of all processing of transport documents (GU-12, railway waybills).
Our own spur accommodates 10 wagons simultaneously, which ensures a high loading speed — up to 20 wagons per day.
